This collet ring can be mounted on the collet chuck (CC150) and has a height of 37 mm. The ring is available in different materials as shown below in the table and can be fastened in a simple way. The plug in the middle must be tightened with a torque of 10 Nm with the aid of (Dis-)assembly key (QC022-AK).
Application
The workpiece contour is self-adjusting by cutting it in the ring. For this, you can use shim ring (CR150-MR S). Put pneumatic pressure on the system so the shim ring can be inserted. After this, the pneumatic pressure can be removed and the workpiece controur can be milled int he collet ring. Keep in mind that the depth of the workpiece contour stays above this shim. The opening of this contour to the product may have a maximum tolerance of 0,02 mm on the diameter for an optimal use.
